Medical Purposes
Many believe that the total elimination of animal testing will significantly set back the development of essential medical services, medicines and treatment. Since animals are used for the name of science, meaning they are used to find cures, or to better understand a certain disease, many people argue that by completely stopping the use of animals will set back research in the science field. People argue that when not testing on animals and instead using other methods, you won't get accurate results.
Animals have always been used to understand anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology. But now there exist other ways in which scientist can test and make scientific breakthroughs, and none of them involve the usage of animals.
